How to Farm

Unite and Fight consists of 7 rounds.

The first two are colloquially refered to as meat farming. For most players, this round consists of farming out Extreme or Extreme+ to get host mats for the raids of Finals. In the first round, Preliminaries, all honor is counted to both crew and individual honors. In the second, Interlude, honors only count towards individuals. Farming preliminaries is a lot more important for this reason where interlude can often be skipped unless ranking. NM90 and NM95 are also available these days. NM90 will typically be the go to route for farming Celestial weapons as they are the fastest node that drops them and the rates at all Nightmare fights are about the same. NM95 is for rankers looking to get honors faster.

The bulk of GW is the four rounds of Finals. In this stage, teams go head to head to see who can get more honors during the round period. These rounds introduce Nightmare raids which uses the meat farmed during the previous rounds. Day 1 introduces NM100 and NM150, Day 2 brings NM200 and Day 3 provides the final fight NM250. While the best players will aim for the highest level every day, the general rule for all players is to farm whatever stage nets you the most honors per hour. So for example, if your best NM200 takes more than 3.25 times longer than NM150, it would be better to run NM150. The other main meta concern of this round is meat usage. It is helpful to both set meat usage goals and limits for each round so that you can both meet your individual goals as well as retain meat for the later rounds with a much higher honors/meat ratio.

The final round is Final Rally, a rematch against the GW boss with your whole crew. The fight is generally not notable in terms of diffculty and can easily be FA’d or refresh spammed.

Notable Changes This Year

Coming later.

Structural Changes

Now, NM95 will be available at the start of UnF. For many players its not a huge difference, but for anyone chasing honors and ranking this will be a huge jump in honors during prelims and interludes.

NM150 will be available day 1 and NM200 will be available Day 2. As a result, NM100 will lose all value. NM200 now has more time to breath and setups specifically for it will be more important.

The last major change is NM250 will now the use of extra grid slots. This will make NM250 drastically easier for all players.

In all, expect a drastic increase in honors this UnF at the higher levels.

Weapons

To start, we’ll cover the weapons you should have available for this UnF.

General

This first section will cover weapons that are equally useful for Omega and Optimus.

1 Plume of Suparna Militis★★☆☆☆OTK mainhand
1 Arkab Prior Militis★☆☆☆☆Extra Slot Filler
1 Qinglong Spear Malus★☆☆☆☆Generally phased out but good if you lack the better cap up sources.
0-3 SPC Exo Pelion★☆☆☆☆Can be used for OTK if you lack access to Gateway Star Sword, Ultima Sword, Settes, or Clams
4-6 ATK Sette di Spade Mk II★☆☆☆☆Up to 6 can be used for OTK
0-1 Lupercalia★☆☆☆☆Very potent OTK mainhand.

When it comes to Ultima weapons, the most useful above all is Ultima Blade due to it pairing with Wind’s main attacker Narmaya (Grand). After that, two of the more common picks would be Ultima Staff which is great for Manadiver FA and Ultima Spear which is for setups that use Rhomphaia.

For World weapons you’ll want the typical main two of Worldscathing Leon and Worldvexing Angelos as both can match well with Wind teams. Another one to consider is Worldstorming Aetos for additional skill damage on skill damage teams. This one is lower priority than the others though.

Melody of Judgement is great for FA purposes since it comes with 30% earth damage reduction. This is on par with the draconic weapon making prioritizing Draconic Rod and Prayer of Grand Gales a bit less important than it might normally be. That said, if you can, the upgraded Draconic will be the stronger choice for NM250. If you want to tackle NM250 FA, getting one or the other is highly advised.

With NM250 allowing Extra Slots, weapons that can go in those slots are a lot more valuable. Ultimas will always be used if available. For FA, Prayer of Grand Gales or Melody of Judgement is an easy slot. World weapons, NWF weapons, Bahamut weapons, and Militis weapons are all options.

Gold Moon

SummonPriorityNotes
0-1 Rhomphaia★★★★☆

As for Gold Moon weapons there is situationally a top tier candidate in Rhomphaia. The situation being having Bastet (Summer). Rhompaia gives the MC GTA and three hit split autos. If allies perform 40 hits in a turn, MC will also gain a one hit 30% assassin. And the last major aspect to cover is its CA provides 15% bonus damage, 100/30 crit and keen to team.

Tiamat

Next up, let us cover the weapons needed for Tiamat grids.

Core

SummonPriorityNotes
4 Tiamat Bolt Aura★★★★★
2 Tiamat Bolt Omega★★★★★
2 Tiamat Bolt Omega★★★★★
2 ATK Abu Simbel★★★★★
2 ATK Indra’s Edge Militis★★★★★
2-3 Last Storm Harp★★★★☆
1-3 Coruscant Crozier★★★★☆

Like most other elements at this point, the core of Omega grids are its M3 exalto weapon. In this case, that would be Tiamat Bolt Aura. Four of these will cover basically all your needs from OTK to burst to FA. A fifth is also an option for more raw damage.

After that, there are two main routes to go. Both Stamina and Enmity grids see plenty of use in burst and FA.

First let’s cover enmity. With the 40% HP loss from Spartan’s Molon Labe All allies gain Bonus DMG (20%, 3T), Jammed (30%-90%, 8T), Lethal Attack Dodged (1 times), and Shielded (3000).
(Consumes 40% of each ally’s current HP.)
and 25% loss from Demonbream you are far into enmity territory. This makes Tiamat Bolt Omegas a strong raw damage slot. Additionally, the enmity supp weapons Abu Simbel and Indra’s Edge Militis will be your main supplemental sources. Abu Simbels have higher raw damage vs Indra’s Edge Militis backing 3% normal cap at FLB.

The other route is stamina. Its more common for FA teams but may see use with Sumaibito or Bastet setups. This is a Crit setup using the big crit weapon Last Storm Harp and the medium crit weapon Coruscant Crozier. Two harps will be enough for many needs with three being for single sided setups. Spoons carry an HP component and are excellent for providing HP when needed.

Good to Have

SummonPriorityNotes
2 Ewiyar’s Beak★★★☆☆
2 Tiamat Edge Aura★★★☆☆
1 SPC Daur da Blao★★★☆☆
1-3 Mandjet★★★☆☆
2 Tiamat Arc Aura★★★☆☆
5 Tiamat Bolt Aura★★☆☆☆
1-2 DEF Spada di Vento★★☆☆☆For FA

Wind offers a few skill damage boosts which are great for skill mashing, FA, or NM250 Rising Force mashing. Ewiyar’s Beak and Tiamat Edge Aura. The former is better for single sided or unboosted setups thanks to the flat 50k supp and large normal mod. The latter is better for longer FAs or double sided setups in general thanks tempering also providing boosted skill cap in addition to the supp and the garrison helping with survivability. Next is the flat skill cap weapon Daur da Blao. With special awakening, these provide 20% skill cap up per copy. It is also the best Rising Force mainhand options thanks to it dealing skill damage on CA and providing 10% bar to party.

Tiamat Arc Aura come with bloodshed that reduce your starting HP by 20% of max per copy for a max of 40%. Its great for activating enmity setups and pushing you into the red. For Spartan setups with Demonbream, this is typically not important as the HP is already heavily reduced and focusing more on raw damage works better. Still its strong utility to have around especially for non-spartan setups that don’t have access to Spartan’s HP cut.

Mandjet is a stamina based supp weapon. At 30k supp per copy, its weaker compared to the premium option, but it works if needed.

Premium Upgrades

SummonPriorityNotes
1-2 Piercing Galewings★★★★★
1 Galgalim of Gales★★☆☆☆Priority increases if grouping
1 Swan★★☆☆☆

For premium upgrade options, Piercing Galewings is your highest priority thanks to the unconditional 50k supp and 7% cap up. They are an excellent boost and its a highly reccomended.

Galgalim of Gales is a very strong fist mainhand thanks in big part to its skill that grants MC double strike, 30% echo, and 10% normal cap up upon using their first slot skill. After normal attacks, allies also gain 10% (30% max) stackable ATK up, 15%/10% (45%/30% max) stackable DATA, ad 10k (30k max) stackable supp on normal attacks. And for additional utility, the CA grants MC 2 hit flurry and GTA making it great to set up a larger burst turn.

Swan deals a 3 skill hit nuke on dispels for lots of extra free damage when paired with auto dispellers. For FA, it provides veil, damage mitigation, and healing all of which are great. Last year it was top tier for NM150 via skill mashing setups and is likely to be the case again pending new characters. It is also excellent for OTK thanks its large nuke when paired with an auto dispeller like Estarriola.

Zephyrus

Next up let’s cover what is needed for Zephyrus. A Grand release is likely before UnF and it could result in major grid changes.

Core

SummonPriorityNotes
2 Piercing Galewings★★★★★
2-3 Kaguya’s Folding Fans★★★★★
1-2 ATK Vortex of the Void★★★★★
2 Claíomh Solais Díons★★★★☆
1 Incomplete Polarsector or Destiny Knuckles★★★★☆

Similar to Tiamat, Zephyrus both sees widespread use of enmity and stamina grids. Prior, enmity had its roots heavy in burst, but it has been trending towards Stamina thanks to Sumaibito and Bastet (Summer) reducing reliance on Spartan setups.

For Stamina setups, Vortex of the Void serves both as a strong Stamina mod slot and great HP filter. Thanks to its ATK awakening, it packs a strong mix of mods as well as 5% cap up. Stamina based OTK and burst will make great use of it as well as FA.

As for the enmity side, Incomplete Polarsector and Destiny Knuckles are the main options both providing strong enmity mods as well as Bloodshed. Polarsector is the stronger of the two but both are very interchangable.

Piercing Galewing provides 7% cap up and 50k supp making it a great general cap break option.

Kaguya’s Folding Fans is Wind’s exalto weapon providing 30% boost to Zeph weapon skills. It also packs normal amp making it strong for burst setups that focus on them. Inversely, setups that rely on CAs won’t need many or any of them. Right now, three is ideal though if Wind gets a Heldenhymne clone there won’t be enough space.

Claíomh Solais Díon provides 7% special cap, 40% EX ATK, and 25% DEF per copy with 15 unique weapon skills. The additional cap up is generally great to push more damage. The defense is great for FA or mashing setups. Depending on the new Grand Zeph recieves, its likely they get cut from burst setups, but time will tell.

Good to Have

SummonPriorityNotes
1 Swan★★★☆☆½
2 Galleon Floats★★★☆☆
2 Ewiyar’s Beaks★★★☆☆
1 Galgalim of Gales★★★☆☆Priority increases if grouping
2 ATK Sky Aces★★★☆☆
2 Evanescence★★★☆☆
1 Evening Floral Shower★★☆☆☆
3 Claíomh Solais Díons★★☆☆☆
2 Incomplete Polarsector or Destiny Knuckles★☆☆☆☆
1 SKILL Love Eternal★☆☆☆☆

Galgalim of Gales is a very strong fist mainhand thanks in big part to its skill that grants MC double strike, 30% echo, and 10% normal cap up upon using their first slot skill. After normal attacks, allies also gain 10% (30% max) stackable ATK up, 15%/10% (45%/30% max) stackable DATA, ad 10k (30k max) stackable supp on normal attacks. And for additional utility, the CA grants MC 2 hit flurry and GTA making it great to set up a larger burst turn.

Beyond the Stamina and Enmity bursts, skill setups are very common. Last year, they dominated in NM150. Swan was a key part of this thanks to it deal a 3 skill hit nuke on dispels for lots of extra free damage when paired with auto dispellers. For FA, it provides veil, damage mitigation, and healing all of which are great. The farmable skill supp weapon Ewiyar’s Beak or the gacha tempering weapon Galleon Float will be your main sources of skill damage boost. Floats are stronger for double Zeph setups, but are a low priority bar overall unless you really maximize your potential damage or have the bars to spare. Then there is also a third skill supp source. Evening Floral Shower packs 100k skill supp with garrison making this the choice for when additional defense is needed. And last one to note is a skill awakened Love Eternal which provides 25% skill cap up while also having massive and medium ATK for a notable amount of mod.

Sky Ace is Zeph’s main CA booster thanks to its Big Glory. CA setups should still be great for Soloing NM250 via CA mashing. For FA, there will likely be stronger options due to how slow CA setups are.

Evanescence is Wind’s Big II crit weapon. They also offer crit supp for 20k per copy. They are great as well for additional raw damage as well as activating Narmaya (Grand)’s passive granting 10% bonus damage on crits.

Manatura

Another thing to farm for are the various Manatura that might see use.

The main three are from left to right the Leviathan Mino, the Ouroboros Mino, and the Dark Rapture Simulacrum. There are the primary three for most uses with Manadiver. All three use the same mechanic of dealing skill damage on normal attacks when MC has at least 1 crest at the cost of 30% charge bar.

Leviathan is the most basic and easiest to obtain especially since it can be traded for. It deals a 6 hit skill damage instance. And it also inflicts a debuff called Submerged with is used by the support passive to give MC 10% bonus damage.

Ouroboros is a very strong upgrade thanks to its 6 hit nuke hitting harder and support passive that provides 30k teamwide supplemental damage with an additional 5k supp per crest. The main drawback is the way to obtain it is from the Alchemy Lab where it costs a hefty 30k points. This cost is pretty significant for anyone who hasn’t extensively bar farmed before.

Lastly, the Dark Rapture Simulacrum is a side grade to the Ouroboros one. It deals a single large skill damage instance that also inflicts amplified damage taken. And its support passive provides MC with 30% perp ATK, 25/25 DATA, 10% cap, and +10 hostlity to MC at the cost of 10% HP per turn. In many cases for burst setups, this can slightly edge out over Ouroboros, but for any FA setup that lasts a significant number of turns, the HP cost can often prove to much.

Unlike the others, the Agastia Simulacrum is a very specialized one focus on setups where the MC will charge attack. The support passive grants the MC 9% (90% max) CA damage, and 3% (30%) max CA cap per buff on MC. And when MC has 12 or more buffs, it deals a massive 10 hit skill damage nuke that can easily deal over 9m damage in OTK setups. Combine this from the skill damage it inflicts on attack for over 10m additional damage after CA. Outside OTK, it is unlikely to see use this UnF.

Artifacts

Artifacts are another system of character progression offer them additional stats or abilities. They can be equipped to any character who shares the element and proficiency of the artifact. When farming for a specific element drop, farm raids of the element. The artifact which drops has a 50% chance of being the element of the raid its dropped from.

Typically the most useful artifacts are those which provide NA cap, NA supp, damage amp, skill cap, or skill supp. Any source of additional cap break can make a major difference. Typically the NA cap or supp will take priority, but some characters may prefer skill cap. For this UnF, there are many characters that specialize primarily in one kind of damage. For example Narmaya (Grand) only does NAs where [[[c|estariolla]]] only does skill damage. As a result, the artifacts of the type NA cap for hit to skill/CA cap or skill cap to hit to NA/CA cap are highest priority.

The other major artifact type are TA artifacts. They will be invaluable for OTK to reach 100% TA on all characters and strong for some burst setups.

Beyond these, other stats may be useful for certain characters. Like characters with dodge mechanics would like dodge rate up boosts.

The max HP up for 70% def down artifact is also one to keep an eye out for. This artifact makes killing off units a lot easier which has plenty of tactical use even in FA.
