- NM[xxx] – Nightmare fights for GW, goes from 90 to 200
- Echo Key – refers to Chain of Falsehood
- Freyr Key – refers to Chain of Temptation
- BIS – best in slot
- DA/TA – Double Attack/Triple Attack
- GDA/GTA – Guaranteed Double Attack/Guaranteed Triple Attack
- MH – Mainhand
- FLB/ULB – Generally refers to 4★ and 5★ on weapons, and 5★ and 6★ on characters.

Below is a list of Japanese terminology for various terms in the game. You can search these on YouTube or Twitter to get more ideas of setups. For example, if you want to see Galleon full auto setups for magna, you can look up the JP name for Galleon on the wiki (ガレヲンHL) and add the terms for FA (フルオート) and magna (マグナ) for ガレヲンHL フルオート マグナ.

- フルオート – Full Auto
- 青箱 – Blue Chest
- 編成 – Setup/Composition
- [x]ターン – x amount of turns, typically 1-2 for bursting.
- ヒヒ掘り – Gold bar farming
- [x]ポチ – x amount of buttons
- [x]召喚 – x amount of summons
- 貢献度 – Honors
- 流砂 – Eternity Sand

- [x] なし/無し – No x, so for example if looking for no Michael axe/Michael setups you’d say ミカ無し or ミカ斧無し
- [x] あり/有り – Has x or with x, mostly for GW setups, examples include: バフ有り or AT有り

- 放置 – AFK host/Weak host. Used as a keyword in co-op search by players that need carries to clear daily host
