Wind Unite and Fight 2025 Preparation Guide

Next Unite and Fight is set for November 21st-28th and will be Wind advantage. Let’s go over once again what you should work on in the meantime.

Weapons

To start, we’ll cover the weapons you should have available for this UnF.

General

This first section will cover weapons that are equally useful for Omega and Optimus.

1 SPC Daur da Blao★★★☆☆Best in Slot Rising Force mainhand
1 Draconic Rod★★★☆☆
1 Prayer of Grand Gales★★★☆☆
1 Theater of Temperance★★★☆☆
1 Worldstorming Aetos★★☆☆☆
1 Plume of Suparna Militis★★☆☆☆OTK mainhand
1 Arkab Prior Militis★☆☆☆☆Extra Slot Filler
1 Qinglong Spear Malus★☆☆☆☆Generally phased out but good if you lack the better cap up sources.
0-3 SPC Exo Pelion★☆☆☆☆Can be used for OTK if you lack access to Gateway Star Sword, Ultima Sword, Settes, or Clams
4-6 ATK Sette di Spade Mk II★☆☆☆☆Up to 6 can be used for OTK
0-1 Lupercalia★☆☆☆☆Very potent OTK mainhand.

When it comes to Ultima weapons, the most useful above all is Ultima Blade due to it pairing with Wind’s main attacker Narmaya (Grand). After that, two of the more common picks would be Ultima Staff which is great for Manadiver FA and Ultima Spear which is for setups that use Rhomphaia.

For World weapons you’ll want the typical main two of Worldscathing Leon and Worldvexing Angelos as both can match well with Wind teams. Another one to consider is Worldstorming Aetos for additional skill damage on skill damage teams. This one is lower priority than the others though.

Melody of Judgement is great for FA purposes since it comes with 30% earth damage reduction. This is on par with the draconic weapon making prioritizing Draconic Rod and Prayer of Grand Gales a bit less important than it might normally be. That said, if you can, the upgraded Draconic will be the stronger choice for NM250. If you want to tackle NM250 FA, getting one or the other is highly advised.

With NM250 allowing Extra Slots, weapons that can go in those slots are a lot more valuable. Ultimas will always be used if available. For FA, Prayer of Grand Gales or Melody of Judgement is an easy slot. World weapons, NWF weapons, Bahamut weapons, and Militis weapons are all options.

Gold Moon

SummonPriorityNotes
0-1 Rhomphaia★★★★☆

As for Gold Moon weapons there is situationally a top tier candidate in Rhomphaia. The situation being having Bastet (Summer). Rhompaia gives the MC GTA and three hit split autos. If allies perform 40 hits in a turn, MC will also gain a one hit 30% assassin. And the last major aspect to cover is its CA provides 15% bonus damage, 100/30 crit and keen to team.

Tiamat

Next up, let us cover the weapons needed for Tiamat grids.

Core

SummonPriorityNotes
4 Tiamat Bolt Aura★★★★★
2 Tiamat Bolt Omega★★★★★
2 Tiamat Bolt Omega★★★★★
2 ATK Abu Simbel★★★★★
2 ATK Indra’s Edge Militis★★★★★
2-3 Last Storm Harp★★★★☆
1-3 Coruscant Crozier★★★★☆

Like most other elements at this point, the core of Omega grids are its M3 exalto weapon. In this case, that would be Tiamat Bolt Aura. Four of these will cover basically all your needs from OTK to burst to FA. A fifth is also an option for more raw damage.

After that, there are two main routes to go. Both Stamina and Enmity grids see plenty of use in burst and FA.

First let’s cover enmity. With the 40% HP loss from Spartan’s Molon Labe All allies gain Bonus DMG (20%, 3T), Jammed (30%-90%, 8T), Lethal Attack Dodged (1 times), and Shielded (3000).
(Consumes 40% of each ally’s current HP.)
and 25% loss from Demonbream you are far into enmity territory. This makes Tiamat Bolt Omegas a strong raw damage slot. Additionally, the enmity supp weapons Abu Simbel and Indra’s Edge Militis will be your main supplemental sources. Abu Simbels have higher raw damage vs Indra’s Edge Militis backing 3% normal cap at FLB.

The other route is stamina. Its more common for FA teams but may see use with Sumaibito or Bastet setups. This is a Crit setup using the big crit weapon Last Storm Harp and the medium crit weapon Coruscant Crozier. Two harps will be enough for many needs with three being for single sided setups. Spoons carry an HP component and are excellent for providing HP when needed.

Good to Have

SummonPriorityNotes
2 Ewiyar’s Beak★★★☆☆
2 Tiamat Edge Aura★★★☆☆
1 SPC Daur da Blao★★★☆☆
1-3 Mandjet★★★☆☆
2 Tiamat Arc Aura★★★☆☆
5 Tiamat Bolt Aura★★☆☆☆
1-2 DEF Spada di Vento★★☆☆☆For FA

Wind offers a few skill damage boosts which are great for skill mashing, FA, or NM250 Rising Force mashing. Ewiyar’s Beak and Tiamat Edge Aura. The former is better for single sided or unboosted setups thanks to the flat 50k supp and large normal mod. The latter is better for longer FAs or double sided setups in general thanks tempering also providing boosted skill cap in addition to the supp and the garrison helping with survivability. Next is the flat skill cap weapon Daur da Blao. With special awakening, these provide 20% skill cap up per copy. It is also the best Rising Force mainhand options thanks to it dealing skill damage on CA and providing 10% bar to party.

Tiamat Arc Aura come with bloodshed that reduce your starting HP by 20% of max per copy for a max of 40%. Its great for activating enmity setups and pushing you into the red. For Spartan setups with Demonbream, this is typically not important as the HP is already heavily reduced and focusing more on raw damage works better. Still its strong utility to have around especially for non-spartan setups that don’t have access to Spartan’s HP cut.

Mandjet is a stamina based supp weapon. At 30k supp per copy, its weaker compared to the premium option, but it works if needed.

Premium Upgrades

SummonPriorityNotes
1-2 Piercing Galewings★★★★★
1 Galgalim of Gales★★☆☆☆Priority increases if grouping
1 Swan★★☆☆☆

For premium upgrade options, Piercing Galewings is your highest priority thanks to the unconditional 50k supp and 7% cap up. They are an excellent boost and its a highly reccomended.

Galgalim of Gales is a very strong fist mainhand thanks in big part to its skill that grants MC double strike, 30% echo, and 10% normal cap up upon using their first slot skill. After normal attacks, allies also gain 10% (30% max) stackable ATK up, 15%/10% (45%/30% max) stackable DATA, ad 10k (30k max) stackable supp on normal attacks. And for additional utility, the CA grants MC 2 hit flurry and GTA making it great to set up a larger burst turn.

Swan deals a 3 skill hit nuke on dispels for lots of extra free damage when paired with auto dispellers. For FA, it provides veil, damage mitigation, and healing all of which are great. Last year it was top tier for NM150 via skill mashing setups and is likely to be the case again pending new characters. It is also excellent for OTK thanks its large nuke when paired with an auto dispeller like Estarriola.

Zephyrus

Next up let’s cover what is needed for Zephyrus. A Grand release is likely before UnF and it could result in major grid changes.

Core

SummonPriorityNotes
2 Piercing Galewings★★★★★
2-3 Kaguya’s Folding Fans★★★★★
1-2 ATK Vortex of the Void★★★★★
2 Claíomh Solais Díons★★★★☆
1 Incomplete Polarsector or Destiny Knuckles★★★★☆

Similar to Tiamat, Zephyrus both sees widespread use of enmity and stamina grids. Prior, enmity had its roots heavy in burst, but it has been trending towards Stamina thanks to Sumaibito and Bastet (Summer) reducing reliance on Spartan setups.

For Stamina setups, Vortex of the Void serves both as a strong Stamina mod slot and great HP filter. Thanks to its ATK awakening, it packs a strong mix of mods as well as 5% cap up. Stamina based OTK and burst will make great use of it as well as FA.

As for the enmity side, Incomplete Polarsector and Destiny Knuckles are the main options both providing strong enmity mods as well as Bloodshed. Polarsector is the stronger of the two but both are very interchangable.

Piercing Galewing provides 7% cap up and 50k supp making it a great general cap break option.

Kaguya’s Folding Fans is Wind’s exalto weapon providing 30% boost to Zeph weapon skills. It also packs normal amp making it strong for burst setups that focus on them. Inversely, setups that rely on CAs won’t need many or any of them. Right now, three is ideal though if Wind gets a Heldenhymne clone there won’t be enough space.

Claíomh Solais Díon provides 7% special cap, 40% EX ATK, and 25% DEF per copy with 15 unique weapon skills. The additional cap up is generally great to push more damage. The defense is great for FA or mashing setups. Depending on the new Grand Zeph recieves, its likely they get cut from burst setups, but time will tell.

Good to Have

SummonPriorityNotes
1 Swan★★★☆☆½
2 Galleon Floats★★★☆☆
2 Ewiyar’s Beaks★★★☆☆
1 Galgalim of Gales★★★☆☆Priority increases if grouping
2 ATK Sky Aces★★★☆☆
2 Evanescence★★★☆☆
1 Evening Floral Shower★★☆☆☆
3 Claíomh Solais Díons★★☆☆☆
2 Incomplete Polarsector or Destiny Knuckles★☆☆☆☆
1 SKILL Love Eternal★☆☆☆☆

Galgalim of Gales is a very strong fist mainhand thanks in big part to its skill that grants MC double strike, 30% echo, and 10% normal cap up upon using their first slot skill. After normal attacks, allies also gain 10% (30% max) stackable ATK up, 15%/10% (45%/30% max) stackable DATA, ad 10k (30k max) stackable supp on normal attacks. And for additional utility, the CA grants MC 2 hit flurry and GTA making it great to set up a larger burst turn.

Beyond the Stamina and Enmity bursts, skill setups are very common. Last year, they dominated in NM150. Swan was a key part of this thanks to it deal a 3 skill hit nuke on dispels for lots of extra free damage when paired with auto dispellers. For FA, it provides veil, damage mitigation, and healing all of which are great. The farmable skill supp weapon Ewiyar’s Beak or the gacha tempering weapon Galleon Float will be your main sources of skill damage boost. Floats are stronger for double Zeph setups, but are a low priority bar overall unless you really maximize your potential damage or have the bars to spare. Then there is also a third skill supp source. Evening Floral Shower packs 100k skill supp with garrison making this the choice for when additional defense is needed. And last one to note is a skill awakened Love Eternal which provides 25% skill cap up while also having massive and medium ATK for a notable amount of mod.

Sky Ace is Zeph’s main CA booster thanks to its Big Glory. CA setups should still be great for Soloing NM250 via CA mashing. For FA, there will likely be stronger options due to how slow CA setups are.

Evanescence is Wind’s Big II crit weapon. They also offer crit supp for 20k per copy. They are great as well for additional raw damage as well as activating Narmaya (Grand)’s passive granting 10% bonus damage on crits.

Who to Farm?

Next up, we’ll go over the Eternals and Evokers for the element that you should consider farming for.

Katzelia

Katzelia can serve two potential purposes this UnF.

His first major usage is his backline passive that provides 30% perpetuity attack up when debuffed. With either Belial (Summer) or Ewiyar (Grand), this is super easy to activate and can make a major difference in setups.

The second usage requires FLB. He is a top tier candidate for NM250 thanks to all the free charge bar he provides to maintain CA loops as well as the boosts to defense and survivability. His skill 4 isn’t hard required but it increases your damage output significantly so you should try to get it. CA mashing NM250 for manual players will likely be a top solo strat again so the FLB is highly reccomended for that. FA might move away from the pure CA looping due to how slow it is, but it will be very safe thanks to Katze.

Nio

Starting at level 130, Niyon becomes an excellent buffer for Wind. Her main skill Defendu Raise all foes’ Tuning (Accuracy: g, 180s) lvl by 1 (Max: 10).
All allies gain Critical Up (30%, 3t).
Level 85:
All allies also gain Shield (2000, 3T).
Level 130:
Buff increased to Critical Up (30%, 3t).
Shield endurance increased to Shield (3000, 3T).
All allies also gain Keen (1% of foe’s max HP Damage cap: 50,000, 3t) and DMG Amplified (10%, Multiplier: Seraphic, 3t).
provides 100/30% crit, keen, and 10% DMG amp to party. She also provides multiple strong sources of partywide ATK up and TA up from both her skill 2 as well as from her Level 120 passive. She can also apply defense and attack down for even more benefit. While not hard required to use her, it is heavily reccomended to get her all to way to 150 since it adds 10% partywide cap up as well as teamwide dispel immunity to her passive. Both of which are highly valuable to burst and FA.

While Nio strength does increase a lot at 130+, she can be a decent FA option even before then. This is thanks to her rebal adding a new debuff to her skill 1 Ninna Nanna Inflict Comatose 6 (Accuracy: 75%, 4-6 turns) on all foes. . The debuff dispels at the end of every turn. On top of this, it has a 100% uptime.

She is both pretty strong for FA and burst. For FA, having a strong buffer with MA and DEF buffs with dispels and debuffs as well as preventing dispels against typically dispel heavy bosses is great to have around. For burst, her strong raw damage buffs, cap break, and dispel cancel are great for the longer burst setups. But they are showing their age as many newer buffers in other elements can offer more while dealing damage themselves. So its possible someone will come by and replace her but for now she’s still golden.

Also she’s cute.

Estarriola

Estarriola is a character who is unable to attack normally for the most part and uses auto activating skill nukes instead. The most important of these is an auto nuke that activates at the end of every turn which dispels one buff. This makes him a particularly strong option for the higher Nightmare fights where the bosses will buff themselves a lot. The other two are a skill nuke that activates on enemy special attack that inflicts a debuff which won’t land and one that activates on taking damage which heals.

These nukes also make him an excellent OTK character. He is guarenteed two of the skill damages which deal as much or more than many other characters. Additionally since he won’t attack outside the skill nukes, he can help cut CA chains for CA setups.

As for FLB, the upgrades are generally minor and can be skipped for most instances. The main use of it is that he becomes a great backline for CA based setups due to his passive now granting random buffs to team based on the number of CA chains instead of just one. His skill 4 post rebalance is now pretty solid though I can’t say is still worth the sunstone investment. The skill let’s Esta now CA whenever his bar is 100% at turn start while also providing 20% (100% max) stackable CA damage, 10% (50% max) stackable CA cap, and 10k (50k max) stackable supp damage.

Siete

Seofon’s use this UnF will mostly be limited to CA based setups for OTK and NM90. For this, he has a strong passive that boost CA damage by 50% and adds 10% CA cap at FLB while also providing 30% ATK up to team on CA. His 110 transcendance is also a good upgrade thanks to further improving his CA damage and adding 15% cap up to party on his charge attack.

Beyond this point, his transcendance will not add much. His transcendance it mostly for V2 content which UnF isn’t. He does get 100k partywide CA supp added to his passives at 150, but given the resources for that it is not advised. 110 is about as far as you need to go but you would be better off using a normal attack based OTK instead.

What to Suptix?

In this section, we will go over the Special Suprise Draw Set that may occur before UnF to discuss any characters or summons that may be useful.

High Priority Characters

Characters that are a strong recommendation to get.

Mirin (SSR)

Mirin (SSR) is a top tier unit for Wind CA setups. Her Samurai Power stacks raise on 4 chains and increase CA damage by 30% (90%) max, 20% CA by cap (60% max), and adds 100k (300k) CA supp for all wind allies. She deals an 8 hit reactive skill damage nuke on enemy special attack that dispels. Her CA provides 30% charge gain to the team to help with CA looping while dealing a 4 hit nuke. She was a big time player last Unite and Fight as well as RF setups in HL content and is a highly sought after unit this time as well.

Medium Priority Characters

Characters that fill some strong niches.

Cagliostro and Clarisse

Cagliostro and Clarisse are an FA duo that provide a lot of helpful utility against annoying aka UnF bosses. Their skill 1 Total Eclipse packs a dispel. Their skill 2 Empowering Aid heals and clears a debuff. On enemy special attack, the skill 2 activates for a free clear and the skill 1 resets to deal with an enemy buff. They also provide strong defense up to the team from both casts of their skill 3. All around they offer a bit of everything good for a UnF FA unit. If you lack stronger seasonal characters, they are a great option.

Noire

Noire is a strong OB unit. If she attacks an enemy who has less than 50% HP at the start of her attack, she gains GTA, 50% bonus damage, 2 hit flurry on her second hit and 3 hit flurry on her third. Putting her in the last spot of an OTK setup for EX+ or NM90 will make it easy to reach that 50% HP requirement. Her passive also works upon using her skill 1 Edge of Depravity so she can used against the higher HP raids if needed.

Her skill 1 also packs Terror. Preventing the boss from using their special has historically been an excellent way to make bursting down a fight much easier. However, with last Dark UnF making NM150 and beyond immune to Terror debuffs, its possible the same will happen again which means her debuff wouldn’t land.

Additionally, her weapon Incomplete Polarsector is the best raw enmity damage weapon for wind.

Also she shares VA with Bocchi.

Low Priority Characters

Good characters that may be replacements for stronger characters or fill too niche a niche that you could work around for not having them.

Yodahara

Yodarha (Wind) finds a place in Spartan bursts due to his 1 turn on assassin on his skill 1 Trice Blade Consume 1 Triple Shroud (Wind) to gain Trice Blade (50%, Multiplier: Assassin, 1T).
(When at 100% charge bar: Also gain Double Strike (1T). Consumes 100% of charge bar.)
. While he overall isn’t the best option, he’s a great sub if you are missing the stronger characters or have a weaker grid that needs the extra output from another assassin.

Petra

Petra (SSR) is an all around amazing FA character providing some handy defense tools like 2 hit mirror image and 1 time dodge all, solid teamwide buffs, and strong CA and skill damage output. She’s best used for extended fights such as being great for Siegfried and likely to be very strong for NM200.

Summons

As always, summons are always a great option. The usual suspects of the echo summons Owlcat or Demonbream, the 6 Dragon Optimus sub aura summon Ewiyar or the Optimus main summon Zephyrus] are all great to pick up if needed.

What to Spark?

For this section, we’ll go over characters found in either Flash Gala or Legend Festival. This won’t go over any 3% banners because I do not trust them.

Narmaya (Grand)

If you can only afford to spark one character for wind UnF and somehow don’t have her already, the answer is Narmaya (Grand). She is the primary attacker in wind especially but not limited to burst setups. She forms the core of every burst setup in wind. Her pairing of a one turn assassin with a four turn 100% bonus damage is very hard to beat and wind doesn’t have anyone who comes close. She also provides 3% damage cap and 10% bonus damage to all ally crits. This makes a crit buffer like Niyon a great pair with her. In addition, she has GTA and passive 20% normal attack amp.

For FA, she is still one of the strongest choices available. While not as dominant at the higher nightmare levels, she will defenitely be used up to NM150 FA and potentially NM200 as well for stronger players.

As well she is great for OTK either for her GTA with amplified normals or her unworldly CA. Her bonus damage passive can be achieved with critical grids here, though once you start wanting looking into setups with drop boost summons this becomes harder to achieve.

Ewiyar (Grand)

Ewiyar (Grand) is an alternative buffer to Niyon who has a 100% uptime skill that charms the team but doesn’t stop them from attacking. This activates her passive that provides 30% perpetuity ATK, 100% DEF, 100/30 DATA, and 10% bonus damge to everyone but her on the team. In addition, her skill 3 The Emerald’s Windfall Gain The Emerald’s Windfall (Multiplier: Perpetuity). All other Wind allies gain Ewiyar (Grand)#The Emerald’s Windfall|a random buff.(Can’t be recast.) gives her the buffs her passive provides everyone else as well as granting a strong random buff each turn to the team. The only one that is guarenteed is on the 5th activation of the skill, you will get teamwide double strike.

Last UnF, her role was for NM200 skill mash setups and for FA. For this UnF, she will still be great for both.

Also, she comes with Piercing Galewing which is Wind’s version of the unconditional 50k supp and 7% cap up weapon. It is both a core weapon for Zephyrus and an excellent option for some Tiamat setups as well. So sparking her for two copies of her weapon is also a very good reason to get her.

Lich (Halloween)

Lich (Halloween) is a skill damage specialist launching a 6-10 hit nuke with dispel every turn while her skill Cursed ‘n’ Spooky Gain Play Undead (5T). is up. The main drawback is that she can’t normal attack. She also packs some handy debuffs including earth attack down and wind defense down as well as delays. In past UnFs, she was a great unit for skill spam teams and especially FA teams and being such a strong dispel bot will make her very useful again. This holds doubly true if you happen to have Galleon (Summer) who delivers an extra dispel whenever Lich has a turn she doesn’t attack.

Just remember if you spark her, do it on the Halloween recap legfest and not the 3%.

Artifacts are another system of character progression offer them additional stats or abilities. They can be equipped to any character who shares the element and proficiency of the artifact. When farming for a specific element drop, farm raids of the element. The artifact which drops has a 50% chance of being the element of the raid its dropped from.

Typically the most useful artifacts are those which provide NA cap, NA supp, damage amp, skill cap, or skill supp. Any source of additional cap break can make a major difference. Typically the NA cap or supp will take priority, but some characters may prefer skill cap. For this UnF, there are many characters that specialize primarily in one kind of damage. For example Narmaya (Grand) only does NAs where [[[c|estariolla]]] only does skill damage. As a result, the artifacts of the type NA cap for hit to skill/CA cap or skill cap to hit to NA/CA cap are highest priority.

The other major artifact type are TA artifacts. They will be invaluable for OTK to reach 100% TA on all characters and strong for some burst setups.

Beyond these, other stats may be useful for certain characters. Like characters with dodge mechanics would like dodge rate up boosts.

The max HP up for 70% def down artifact is also one to keep an eye out for. This artifact makes killing off units a lot easier which has plenty of tactical use even in FA.

Manatura

Another thing to farm for are the various Manatura that might see use.

The main three are from left to right the Leviathan Mino, the Ouroboros Mino, and the Dark Rapture Simulacrum. There are the primary three for most uses with Manadiver. All three use the same mechanic of dealing skill damage on normal attacks when MC has at least 1 crest at the cost of 30% charge bar.

Leviathan is the most basic and easiest to obtain especially since it can be traded for. It deals a 6 hit skill damage instance. And it also inflicts a debuff called Submerged with is used by the support passive to give MC 10% bonus damage.

Ouroboros is a very strong upgrade thanks to its 6 hit nuke hitting harder and support passive that provides 30k teamwide supplemental damage with an additional 5k supp per crest. The main drawback is the way to obtain it is from the Alchemy Lab where it costs a hefty 30k points. This cost is pretty significant for anyone who hasn’t extensively bar farmed before.

Lastly, the Dark Rapture Simulacrum is a side grade to the Ouroboros one. It deals a single large skill damage instance that also inflicts amplified damage taken. And its support passive provides MC with 30% perp ATK, 25/25 DATA, 10% cap, and +10 hostlity to MC at the cost of 10% HP per turn. In many cases for burst setups, this can slightly edge out over Ouroboros, but for any FA setup that lasts a significant number of turns, the HP cost can often prove to much.

Unlike the others, the Agastia Simulacrum is a very specialized one focus on setups where the MC will charge attack. The support passive grants the MC 9% (90% max) CA damage, and 3% (30%) max CA cap per buff on MC. And when MC has 12 or more buffs, it deals a massive 10 hit skill damage nuke that can easily deal over 9m damage in OTK setups. Combine this from the skill damage it inflicts on attack for over 10m additional damage after CA. Outside OTK, it is unlikely to see use this UnF. But is way more likely to be useful in Water UnF.

Upcoming Changes

As for changes in the upcoming months, there won’t be too many major things to expect but still enough to have some ripples in setups.

New Characters

Like prior UnFs, a new Grand is likely. This will likely be a clone of either Heldenhymne or Sennen Goji.

In addition to a potential Grand release, Halloween is coming soon and a wind Halloween character is also a strong potential.

Fighter: Origin

September 18th introduces a new class Fight: Origin. Any new class drop has the potential to result in major changes especially with the Origin classes able to use skill from their class line.

New Shields and Manatura

September 25th brings with it two new manatura and two new shields. Both could potentially bring in strong new utility and with it different setups.

Versusia

A new HL Versusia drops in October. What upgrades this brings are still unknown, but as the new hardest raid in the game it should be something major.

Rebalances

Also in October, there will be rebalances for Sandalphon (Valentine) and [[[c|setera-ssr]]].

Rebalances

Seofon and Niyon are due for their Radiance bonuses. While generally minor upgrades, they have the potential to increase both of their viabilities.
