Special mechanic: “Countdown to The End” gauge
- Depletes in real time. Timer duration is 9 minutes.
- Boost to Lucilius’ ATK specs based on how low Countdown is.
- When you fail to clear an Omen, 1 minute of your current timer is taken.
- When you lose a character for any cause, 1 minute of your maximum timer is taken.
- Timer refreshes at 80%, 60%, and 20%.
- Once the time is up, Lucilius will ready the omen The End.
- The End prevents Lucilius from taking damage and taking it will wipe your party.
- Other players won’t be wiped.
- The End won’t be unreadied even crossing a timer refresh threshold.
- The End prevents Lucilius from taking damage and taking it will wipe your party.

General Strategy
Join
Paradise Lost
Joining the battle will trigger the Omen Paradise Lost which deals 50k plain damage to all allies and will knock out all allies that don’t match the element of the MC. Lucilius also gains [[[se|unchallenged-50]]].
Additionally, each ally will recieve two Fruit buffs. These buffs will inflict a debuff on the character as long as they are up. When the character uses a skill of the same color as the apple, they will both grant a buff and a debuff. The buffs are pretty strong and can be tactifully used instread of consumed immediately.
Emerald Fruit
Takes DMG every turn / Upon using a healing skill: Consume effect / 3-turn cut to skill cooldowns / Blind effect (Can’t be removed)
, also called Green Apple, inflicts 5k plain damage each turn. Using a green skill to consume the apple will cut 3 turns of skill cooldown but will also self inflict Blinded
Attacks have a slight chance to miss
for 2 turns.
Golden Fruit
Accuracy for normal attacks, skill damage, and charge attacks is lowered / Upon using a buff skill: Consume effect / Instant C.A. Reactivation effect (1 time) / Zombie effect (Can’t be removed)
, also called Yellow Apple, lowers accuracy for normal attacks, skill damage, and CAs. Using a yellow skill to consume the fruit with give C.A. Reactivation
but inflict 2 turns of Zombified
.
Crimson Fruit
Charge bar gain is lowered / Upon using a damage skill: Consume effect and 100% of charge bar / Double Strike effect / DMG taken is supplemented (Can’t be removed)
, also called Red Apple, lowers charge bar gain by 50%. Using a red skill to consume the fruit will give the character double strike but also remove 100% charge bar as well as Supplemental DMG (5000)
DMG taken is supplemented
for 2 turns.
Cerulean Fruit
Receives a random debuff every turn / Upon using a debuff skill: Consume effect / 3-hit Flurry effect / Skill Sealed effect (Can’t be removed)
, also called Blue Apple, inflicts a random debuff every turn. The pool is ATK Down
ATK is lowered
, DEF Down
DEF is lowered
, Blinded
Attacks have a slight chance to miss
, Slashed
HP is lowered on every turn
, and Dark Restraints
Can’t deal multiattacks
. Using a blue skill to consume the fruit gives 1 turn of Flurry (3-hit)
Normal attacks deal 2-hit DMG to random foes
at the cost of two turns of Skill Sealed
Can’t use skills
Countdown to the End
The other major mechanic is the Countdown to the End. This is a raid timer and lowers over time and on failing omens. When it is zero, it will ready The End which will wipe your party. The time will reset when Lucilius’s HP reaches 80%, 60%, and 20%. This said, running out of time, outside of solos, is very unlikely now a days. If your party moves from phase to phase at a decent phase and you cancel what you need to cancel it won’t be an issue.
The max time will vary depending on the phase. On Join, the max time is 9 minutes. Additionally, the Maximum Counterdown timer lowers on knockouts including self inflicted one.
Depending on how many segments are left will determine what buffs Lucilius gains.
| No Effect | |
| Lucilius gains 1000 supplmental damage and inflicts 1 random debuffs at the end of the turn. | |
| Lucilius gains 2000 supplmental damage, Godsight, and ignores all elemental damage cut. | |
| Lucilius gains 3000 supplmental damage and inflicts 2 random debuffs at the end of the turn. | |
| Lucilius gains 4000 supplmental damage, double strike, and superior element damage. | |
| Lucilius gains 5000 supplmental damage and ignores defense. |
The End
Lastly, Lucilius readies the omen The End. 30m damage is required to cancel it. If you fail to cancel it, your entire party is wiped. Use summon calls and skills as needed.
Phase 1 (100% – 0%)
Omens
DRZ has two normal full diamond omens. Iblis requires 2 dispels while Phosphorus needs 7 debuffs. Neither is that difficult of a cancel but repeated omens can prove difficult if skills are needed for the cancel. Generaly that’s not an issue outside solos due to the omen rush at 95%.
Tessera is a special Omen that will randomly occur when Ilibis or Phospohorus are cancelled. This particularly makes instant omen cancel abilities pretty dangerous if you aren’t ready to cancel the follow up. In order to cancel Tessera, you will need to deal 1.5m damage instances 7 times. This can be any skills, CAs, or boosted normal attacks that can meet the threshold. Overall though its best to avoid Tessera when possible. Try to cancel the prior omens by attacking into them over using skills if able.
95%
At 95%, there will be three omens readied. You will need to clear at least one of these to avoid being hit with 50k plain damage next phase.
The first is Axion which requires 4 TAs to cancel. You’ll need to have everyone hit 100% TA either via grid or buffs which is the only hangup. Otherwise, CAs off and attack.
The second is Ficus which requires 20M CA damage to cancel. As long as have a full chain, this is easy. Hold CAs if needed before this. For a full chain, you will need 5m damage per CA. Any unworldly CAs or double CAs will make it a lot easier. With general cap up, its overall not too difficult.
And lastely is Sephiroth which is canceled with 15m skill damage. Use skill damage from CA nukes, normal attack nukes, and spam red skills to as needed.
Phase 2 (80%-61%)
Reset the Countdown to the End timer. Max is 9 minutes.
If all three omens Axion, Ficus, and Sephiroth weren’t cleared, Lucilius will ready Paradise Lost. This is an unavoided 50k plain damage as well as progress the End countdown. This is very easy to avoid and really is only a concern if you are AFK.
Repudiation and Renunciation
Joining the phase will ready the Omen Orbital Resonance. You can attack through this omen to setup to cancel the following omens by either building CA charge or using selective CAs for boosts.
Orbital Resonance will grant Lucilius either Repudiation
Each turn allies land less than 25 hits: DMG Fixed effect to foe at end of turn / All allies’ charge bars are lowered (Can’t be removed)
or Renunciation
Each turn allies deal less than 2 triple attacks: DMG Fixed effect to foe at end of turn / Repel effect (Can’t be removed)
.
Repudiation
Each turn allies land less than 25 hits: DMG Fixed effect to foe at end of turn / All allies’ charge bars are lowered (Can’t be removed)
, also called yellow sword, inflcits Charge Cut
Instantly reduces Charge Bar by
and grants Lucilius DMG Fixed
DMG taken is capped (Can’t be removed)
every turn you deal less than 25 hits. Additionally, the full diamond omen is Repudiation which needs 4 CAs to cancel.
Renunciation
Each turn allies deal less than 2 triple attacks: DMG Fixed effect to foe at end of turn / Repel effect (Can’t be removed)
, also called red sword, grants Lucilius Repel
and DMG Fixed
DMG taken is capped (Can’t be removed)
every turn you TA less than two times. Additionally, the full diamond omen is Renunciation and Reputation which needs 3 TAs to cancel.
Since you can’t choose which you get, you need to be prepared to deal with both.
80%
After Orbital Resonance, DRZ will ready the three omens Axion Vanitas, Ficus Vanitas, Sephiroth Vanitas in a row. The main gimmick here is that the cancels for the three omens depends on your primary form of damage. Most setups specialize in 1-2 forms of damage so its pretty easy to know which route you will go down. For the setups that are balanced between two forms of damage, both routes should be learned. You can also bias results if needed. For example, if you run a setup that is pretty balanced between skill damage and normal attacks, you can avoid pressing hard hitting red skills to bias away from the skill route.
| Primary Damage Type and Clear Conditions | ||||
| Omen | Normal/Counters | Skill | CA | Others |
| Axion Vanitas | Deal 1,000,000 DMG in one hit 10 times | Charge attack 4 times | Deal 40 hits | Deal 15 hits of skill DMG |
| Ficus Vanitas | Debuff 7 times | Triple attack 4 times | Deal 15,000,000 skill DMG | Deal 40 hits |
| Sephiroth Vanitas | Deal 15,000,000 skill DMG | Deal 40 hits | Triple attack 4 times | Charge attack 4 time |
Repudiation
Each turn allies land less than 25 hits: DMG Fixed effect to foe at end of turn / All allies’ charge bars are lowered (Can’t be removed)
and Renunciation
Each turn allies deal less than 2 triple attacks: DMG Fixed effect to foe at end of turn / Repel effect (Can’t be removed)
can make dealing with the cancels annoying since you have to make sure to handle both your potential omen cancels as well as trying to meet the conditions of what Sword is up. In most cases, failing to reach the conditions of the sword is easy to work around as most cancels are based on hit counts. The skill damage ones are generally the hardest to deal if you get the dmg fixed from the Sword.
After dealing with the omens, you have a few choices for what you can do. For weaker setups, you’ll typically want hold on Sephiroth Vanitas until 60%. Press what you need to cancel and just wait to hit attack. Likewise, generally with Repudiation
Each turn allies land less than 25 hits: DMG Fixed effect to foe at end of turn / All allies’ charge bars are lowered (Can’t be removed)
, you’ll want to hold on that omen as well. Repudiation is a lot more annoying to cancel especially for non-CA setups. Plus the first omen in the next set needs 5 CAs to clear so you could find yourself short of charge., If you get Renunciation
Each turn allies deal less than 2 triple attacks: DMG Fixed effect to foe at end of turn / Repel effect (Can’t be removed)
, you can safely mash turns until 60%.
Phase 3 (60%-21%)
Reset the Countdown to the End timer. Max is 18 minutes.
If Orbital Resonance wasn’t encountered, Lucilius will ready Paradise Lost. This omen is a non issue except for late joins. Orbital Resonance is a non-cancellable omen that can be safely attacked into.
Standard Omens
Iblis and Phosphorus both return as full diamond Omens. Like before, the former requires 2 dispels while the latter needs 7 debuffs. Tessera also returns but with a different cancel. Now it needs 5 skills to cancel which prove quite troublesome especially with bad luck and Tessera occuring multiple times.
60%
At 60% will be Seven Trumpets. The first player attacking into Sevent Trumpets will clear all debuffs on Lucilius. [[[se|unchallenged-50]]] will be replaced by Unchallenged (10%)
HP won’t lower below 10% (Can’t be removed)
. Then another two Fruits will be randomly given to all allies. And lastly, Lucilius gains the first six labors.
- First Labor
Removes 3 buffs from all allies at end of turn (Can’t be removed / Ends upon canceling the corresponding Omen)
- Second Labor
ATK is boosted / Deals bonus superior elemental DMG upon attacks (Can’t be removed / Ends upon canceling the corresponding Omen)
- Third Labor
Deals 10,000 plain DMG to all allies every turn (Can’t be removed / Ends upon canceling the corresponding Omen)
- Fourth Labor
Debuff durations are cut by 1 turn (Can’t be removed / Ends upon canceling the corresponding Omen)
- Fifth Labor
Triple attack rate is boosted (Can’t be removed / Ends upon canceling the corresponding Omen)
- Sixth Labor
Taking less DMG (Can’t be removed / Ends upon canceling the corresponding Omen)
Before attacking, wait for all players to send an OK sticker. This it due to the debuff reset potentially making players unable to cancel an omen or to take more damage than desired.

Seven Trumpets hits hard. If you have a setup with lower defense it is advised to guard. High defense setups can attack through it.
55%
At 55%, the Labor omens will begin readying up. This is a series of 6 omens in a row. Clearing the omen will remove the associated Labor. The more omens you clear, the easier the raid will be moving forward.
First Labor requires 5 CAs to clear. Full Chain with CA reactivation or a 200% bar character. Golden Fruit
Accuracy for normal attacks, skill damage, and charge attacks is lowered / Upon using a buff skill: Consume effect / Instant C.A. Reactivation effect (1 time) / Zombie effect (Can’t be removed)
can be consumed to give a character CA reactivation if you lack the ability to clear it normally.
Second Labor requires 6 attacks to clear. Skill damage doesn’t count as an attack and TAs and double CAs all count as 1. Thus, double, triple, and quadruple strikes are needed to actually clear this omen. Crimson Fruit
Charge bar gain is lowered / Upon using a damage skill: Consume effect and 100% of charge bar / Double Strike effect / DMG taken is supplemented (Can’t be removed)
when consumed gives double strike so if you have two red apples, even a party without double strike normally can clear. In the worst case scenario, it can be guarded but you will have to deal with Lucilius dealing superior element damage from here on out.
Third Labor requires dealing 35m damage. This is very straightforward. Use skills or summon calls to help clear if needed.
Fourth Labor requires debuffing 10 times. This is similarly straighforward with the exception that you’ll need to make sure to have your debuff skills/summons off cooldown to clear. Avoid using them beforehand.
Fifth Labor requires using a Fated Chain. The only challenge here is making sure to not expend it beforehand sooner than you can rebuild it. If your setup is low on CAs, just don’t use your Fated Chain before this point.
Sixth Labor requires dealing 60 hits. Use TAs, bonus damage, and skill nukes as needed.
Phase 4 (20%-0%)
Reset the Countdown to the End timer. Max is 9 minutes.
Labors Part 2
The 20% trigger Gospel of the End deals 10k plain damage and gives Lucilius the last 6 labors. It is safe to attack through and can be used to prep for the following omens by building charge.
Before attacking, wait for all players to send an OK sticker. The first person who should attack should be the one capable of doing the most damage in the final 20%.

These labors have their elements randomized with one labor per element.
- Seventh Labor
ATK and triple attack rate are boosted (Can’t be removed / Ends upon a(n) [ELEMENT] party canceling the omen for Anti Vasileia by fulfilling displayed requirements)
- Eight Labor
DEF is boosted / Debuff resistance is sharply boosted (Can’t be removed / Ends upon a(n) [ELEMENT] party canceling the Omen for Anti Vasileia by fulfilling displayed requirements)
- Ninth Labor
Hit count is boosted / Charge diamonds fill more quickly (Can’t be removed / Ends upon a(n) [ELEMENT] party canceling the Omen for Anti Vasileia by fulfilling displayed requirements)
- Tenth Labor
All allies’ max HP is lowered at end of turn (Can’t be removed / Ends upon a(n) [ELEMENT] party canceling the Omen for Anti Vasileia by fulfilling displayed requirements)
- EleventhLabor
Deals bonus DMG of 2 random elements upon attacks (Can’t be removed / Ends upon a(n) [ELEMENT]party canceling the Omen for Anti Vasileia by fulfilling displayed requirements)
- Twelfth Labor
Attacks and debuffs don’t miss regardless of debuffs or buffs like Blind, hit to accuracy, Mirror Image, dodge rate, debuff resistance, and debuff immunity / Lands a random debuff on all allies at end of turn (Can’t be removed / Ends upon a(n) [ELEMENT] party canceling the Omen for Anti Vasileia by fulfilling displayed requirements)
Each Labor will not clear until Anti Vasileia is cleared with the element of the Labor. Anti Vasileia readies after Gospel of the End and at the end of the turn if Anti Vasileia isn’t cleared. There are three cancel conditions. Hit 66 times, use 12 skills, and CA 6 times. Typically, this is a time many will use Qilin
to get more skill presses, hit more multi hit skills, and to bring back skills that can give bar, CA reactivation, or double strike as needed. If you are unable to cancel one, it is okay to guard and try for another cancel condition. Just keep in mind your remaining Countdown time and try not too expend too much of it.
From here, there are just two more triggers. Phosphorus Apocalypse at 13% which requires 99,999,999 damage to cancel and Iblis Apocalypse which requires 99 hits to cancel. Both are pretty rough to deal with. Use any skills or summons to help push through it. If you can’t cancel, just put out as much damage per turn as possible to help the team before you die. You can also use any instant omen cancelling effect to deal with them.
The full diamond special Axion Apocalypse also needs to be considered. It requires a Fated Chain to cancel. Make sure to save it for this. Depending on the setup, this can be diffult to cancel multiple times, but realistically you won’t need to unless multiple wipes occured.

In phase three, the Labor II should be after Labor I, not Labor II. And same for all alor down. I think there are some typos here.
Do you have a better quality of the visual summary image?
The quality is really bad for some reason
