And the last wave of the new Omega Rebirth raids has released! Let’s quickly discuss some of the changes brought out by the new weapons.
Earth
Once again, highest priority goes to the Exalto weapon Yggdrasil Crystal Blade Arbos. It provides a 20% boost to Lifetree weapon skills and Vivifivation which boosts attack and damage cap based on the number of weapons that have at least one Lifetree skill on it. This will be your main cap up source as well as one of your primary mod slots in grids.
Like before, you will want to aim for 3-5 of these. 3 will cover the large majority of cases for players where 5 is for those who can do Dark Rapture Zero to gain access to the new Opus keys from it. They require 280% boost to activate. With a single maxed Yggdrasil support summon, 5 blades with Uriel backline will hit 290%.
The next weapon to cover is Yggdrasil Bark Bracer Arbos. Bark Bracers provide Big Glory for a very large boost to CA stats. This is a major boon for CA setups like Kengo for SUBHL or Diaspora hosting as Earth lacked a boostable CA cap up source before outside using Glory key on Opus. Likewise because of that, you can free up the opus key for something more useful. You will want two of these for the purpose of maxing the CA cap boost.
Last up is the HL focused weapon Yggdrasil Dewdrop Harp Arbos. It provides Medium Garrison, Medium TA, and Medium healing cap. The Garrison and Healing cap provide some good defensive utility. The TA boost is a pretty great draw for the weapon both for more consisent damage output and as well as making it much easier to cancel TA omens in HL content. There would not be much reason to run more than 1 due to the lack of any ATK mods or HP mods.
Burst
When it comes to burst, both Caim and non Caim grids can see usage. Depending on the burst type, each can see its own usage.
First up is the Caim example. This will be for a Luchador burst which is great for making the most of the many one turn assassins in earth. Here we can only adopt one Yggdrasil Crystal Blade Arbos due to Caim restrictions. But it does make a great improvement for both the additional boost as well as providing 6% cap up. The setup ideally makes use of Uriel’s weapon Pillardriver but if you lack access to the gacha weapon, you could either use Ultima Claw (Earth) or Baihu Claw Malus.
As for a setup without Caim, you would stack ATK Fang of the Dragonslayer Mk II for the raw damage output. In my testing, the Caim setup was stronger primarly thanks to the extra cap up from the Caim passive.
And last up for Lucha, I’ll go over the Extremity variant. Here, we also run Claw of the Dragonslayer for additional normal cap up. Since Earth runs assassin characters, this additional cap up makes for a great boost. This said right now, there isn’t a reason to run Extremity for burst. This may change by Earth UnF. By time there is a good reason to use it, the grid might also slightly differ.
Now for another burst setup. Here we have Earth’s Nekomancer setup. This uses either Pholia (Yukata) or Shiva for their one hit team wide assassin. Since you want to maximize the assassin output, you will want high raw damage. Thus stacking a ton of ATK Fang of the Dragonslayer Mk II’s will result in the highest damage output.
As for Earth’s 150 GM weapon Hrunting, Omega grids can also make great usage of it. Similar to Lucha, both Caim and Non-Caim are strong. Caim does presently have the stronger damage output but this may change in the future.
Caim
Non-Caim
As for the grids themselves.
Full Auto
Next up will be full auto. Here I will cover four setups.
First up is an example of a Monk setup. Monk is a great option for Earth for FA thanks to the high amounts of skill damage and ability to work with the Chain of Falsehood. Here you want to focus on getting skill damage up which is why we run a Worldbreaking Tauros and two Claw of the Dragonslayers: one MKI and one MKII. For FA, slotting in Yggdrasil Dewdrop Harp Arbos is a good idea for the garrison as well as the boostable TA making more consisent damage output.
This will still use a Caim grid. The big reason for this is the passive defense is too strong to give up for any extended FA.
If we want to use the 150 GM weapon Hrunting we would instead shift to a focus on Normal Attack damage. Like before we would still run of each new M3 weapon. But now we would want to run some more supplemental focused weapons like Ished and Pillardriver as well as normal amp and cap up like Worldvexing Angelos. Also very very important to any Hrunting setup, you will want one Fang of the Dragonslayer as the passive HP loss triggers the free bonus damage passive from Hrunting for free partywide echoes.
For a general purpose Kengo setup, you will want to maximize CA output. Since Earth can easily reach hard cap on MC and especially with Eahta, the highest importance is to break through the harp cap. Thus the usage of Sette di Spade for its special CA cap. Since the awakenings no longer apply to off element revan weapons, you can use any awakening you want. And then we can make use of the new weapon Yggdrasil Bark Bracer Arbos for more CA output.
Last up I’ll cover an FA setup for Diaspora hosts. This setup by
Dengaku which simiarly use Yggdrasil Bark Bracer Arbos to boost CAs. Since Diaspora doesn’t have the hard cap, you are free to not run any Settes or other special CA cap weapons.
Hard Content
Last up wll be one Hard Content example for Hexachromatic Hierarch. Here we make use of each of the new weapons. Yggdrasil Crystal Blade Arbos serve as our best mod source and cap up source and the best thing to stack up for the gacha weapon Landslide Scepter’s requirement for three of the same weapon. Yggdrasil Dewdrop Harp Arbos is good for additional survivability and for the TA to help with the TA omens. Tribunal Lyre Militis is a good way to get some additional HP and Defense in before you get the Draconic Upgrade. After that it will be replaced by it. Claw of the Dragonslayer Mk II is also slotted for some additional cap break. If you are worried about HP, you can replace it with a Nibelung Klinge or a DEF Claw of the Dragonslayer instead. However Earth is generally pretty hard to kill in HL content.
Water
Now onto the water weapons.
Once again, the exalto weapon Leviathan Gaze Mare is the highest priority. As always you will want 3-5 with 5 being for super faa key use.
Next up is Leviathan Cranium Mare. The primary draw of this Axe is the Stam III mod. This large source of Stamina makes it an excellent mod slot. It is strong enough to even outperform the prior mod slot for burst grids of Schrodinger Mk II. The other two mods are small crit and small TA. The crit is generally ignorable but can be nice for capping off crit in crit grids. On the other hand, TA is a small but solid boost to try to reach 100% TA in low button grids especially for characters without 100% TA like Gabriel.
Last up is Leviathan Blade Mare. This is up there as one of the best of the HL focused weapons so far. It provides medium HP, medium TA, and medium Healing Cap. The HP and Healing provide a good boost to survivability while the TA is valuable for more consistent damage and easy TA omen clears. I would aim for two of them for HL purposes.
Burst
First let’s cover burst setups. Below is the standard Warlock / Manadiver burst. With Leviathan Gaze Mare, the grid is much stronger thanks to easily hitting 20% cap up but also being able to drop an additional Ancient Auberon. Auberons are pretty weak grid pieces that mostly stuck around due to being the best option for crit grids with Wamdus’s Cnidocyte. So being able to drop one is a big help especially for the strong mod of Gaze Mares.
If you have access to Gabriel, her aura boost passive let’s you replace 1 Auberon and 1 Gaze with the new Leviathan Cranium Mare. The Big Stam mod on these add a lot to the setup and offer a ton more raw damage over Auberons resulting in a grid with much higher raw damage.
Now for a more premium option. The gacha weapon Gospel of Water and Sky provides another source for supp that does not rely on crit. As a result, you can drop the weak grid piece of Auberons for much stronger ones. Craniums are an excellent choice for this. You can run 2 or 1 Cranium with 1 additonal Gaze. The latter is stronger so it is below. The last slot is pretty free with Pistol of Bahamut Coda being a great general option. Celestial Staff when it releases or Worldvexing Angelos would be good choices staff focused parties. If you have the premium option of Blue Sphere that would be BIS for now.
And last one to cover will be for a five exalto case. Five Exaltos will mostly see use in the longer burst setups. The most common example are setups are Relic Buster or Soldier. These are common for Unite and Fight and for Mugen farming. They will run either Exo Antaeus or Hraesvelgr as the mainhand.
And if you want to see it in action, here is an example of a setup for Mugen that uses the Extremity key.
Full Auto
When it comes to FA, I will cover two different types of setups.
First up is the standard Manadiver FA. This uses the skill Overtrance Gain Overtrance (6T) and C.A. Instant Standby. (Can’t recast.) in combination with the Falsehood chain on opus for many turns of teamwide double strike in a row. As a result, this is pretty similar to the prior burst grid. Here we would be better off running Double Leviathan for Crit grids so we can slot in another weapon. In this case, we are using Worldvexing Angelos as many of Water’s top characters have Staff prociency. But swap it out as needed. Like if using Haaselia frontline, use Reflection of The Moon instead.
As for the 2 Gospel version, it is pretty similar again. There is one slot that is pretty free to swap around. Below is Gateway-Star Sword for additional HP and DEF. Once Celestial Staff comes out, it would be much better to run that instead. Alternatively, in cases where you don’t need to worry much about HP, can bring in another Gaze Mare.
Next setup is Water’s other common FA strat of Street King which utlitizes Haaselia by swapping her in via faking the MC’s death. Here, we will slot in the HP weapon of Leviathan Blade Mare as this setup is typically used for harder hitting raids. But as well, the TA is great as many of the character options are not GTA characters. Like before, many characters are staff focused so using the World Harp is a good idea. Also Haase is in play and thus so will be her weapon Reflection of The Moon for the 50% unique ATK and 30% cap it provides with the Full Moon buff.
And an example of this.
Hard Content
And last up is an example for Dark Rapture Zero. This is a setup made by Moeru. This one uses Onmyoji with a Gaze Mare as the mainhand. Overall, it doesn’t adopt many of the new weapons mostly because Water’s Revan weapons are very strong for HL content. However, the Leviathan Blade Mare still proves to be a great slot for the HP and TA it provides. With the single Gaze, it can also use the Sagacity key with double Levithan.
And for the video it comes from.
Closing Notes
And with that all the M3 waves are out. Overall a vert strong set of new weapons that have pushed farmable grids out of the rut they’ve been in for a while. Even in a few cases they are on par with or slightly better than the Optimus versions. Granted that won’t stay for long as once those elements get their Optimus Exaltos the balance will shift back to their favor. But the fact that Omega grids could get to this point is great to see.
There is a lot around the site that will need to be updated with M3, but right now I think I will mostly focus on finishing the highly requested guides and then do a sweep later adding new grids and updating some setups.
Hopefully everyone has been having good luck farming the M3s so far.
Also if you haven’t read Ami’s fates yet please do so. She is very cute.
